MasterRoute: Android application for finding the optimal traffic route

摘要

This paper presents an Android application for finding the optimal traffic route between multiple locations while avoiding the routes that are blocked. Optimal traffic route is determent by the least travel time needed and/or the shortest distance between the locations. However, if the optimal traffic route is blocked the application will provide the best alternative route between the locations until there are no more alternative routes in which case the user will receives a message alerting him that there are no traffic routes available between the locations at the moment. Provided solution in this paper aims to be cost efficient and time efficient.
