The parametrized finite element model of the tooling and sweep of the workpiece has been constructed for the single-pass drawing of half-pipes. An analysis of the current state of the problem of the loss of stability of thin-walled shell-type elements in the plasticity region is carried out. A series of numerical experiments was carried out at different angles of rotation of the channel. The problem of forming thin-walled elements of aviation structures is considered. An estimation of the behavior of a sheet blank during the forming process is given. The stress state of the billet in the process of nucleation and development of the corrugation was investigated. The data on the stresses arising in the potentially defective zone and in the region free from the appearance of folds are compared.
