摘要

The need to fight the global climate change in recent years impose to designers and planners to adopt strategies, technologies and methods that enable to focus on smart developments also in restrained conditions like in protected historical small villages. This essay shows multidisciplinary results obtained by using both the building information modelling (BIM) and innovative approaches for design a highly energy efficient Hotel building that can represent a valuable attraction for the touristic demand of the village. In wider perspective, it will be firstly introduces an ongoing strategy of regional energy efficiency and tourist development which is under discussion by a network of small Lucanian villages in South of Italy.Integrated project delivery (IPD) and design optimization are the most benefits coming by BIM-collaborative methods. Many practical implications are coming from the implementation of BIM, like the high energy performance goal of the building, the reduction of extra costs of design changes during the subsequent phases of construction process. Accurated digital 3D models improve collaboration between project parties, to ensure that the project is well-coordinated before the construction phase begins. This paper investigates also the contribution of dyanmic energy analyses to design the hotel and their influence on the final architectural solutions, and aimed to become a real development model for a network of small villages..
