When airport authorities carry out aircraft noise monitoring around their airport, it has the demands which want to distinguish and evaluate aircraft noise and other sounds. Moreover, there is also a demand which separates and measures engine run-up sound, TAXIING sound and APU sound for every occurrence place to take countermeasures about sound source in the airport. Since ground sound, mentioned above, has long continuation time, they are generated simultaneously about takeoff or landing sound of aircrafts in many cases. Although we have reported the detection technique of plural sound sources by a cross correlation method at Inter- Noise 2008. This method may produce problems of combination in calculation of the sound arrival direction vector regarding plural sound sources, and may make mistakes in sound source position detection as a result. We report examples applied the technique of the sound source identification which improved the problem to plural sound sources generated at the same time.
