摘要

This research paper presents the results of the implementation of solar hybrid power supply system at telecommunication base tower to reduce the fuel consumption at rural area. An adequate strategy has been developed that incorporate solar energy as a primarypower source and diesel generator as well as battery for backup power system. The study, which resulted in the minimum cost of fuel consumption and reduces operational cost is defined formulated. An analysis is also performed to evaluate the impact of solar panel and the effectiveness of the implementation at the off-grid site.
