This study aims to develop a digital prototype of Personnel Airlock and its key components. In addition, combined with structural reliability analysis with digital prototype simulation, the weak links that influence the reliability of the equipment are specifically analyzed. The weak point of the equipment was found with the failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) method. They are lifting mechanism, shell and sealing door, and then the weak link-lifting mechanism were analyzed by using dynamics simulation software ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System). Personnel airlock is part of third safety barrier. The shell and sealing door are important pressure-resistant components. The Finite element analysis was carried out by ANSYS output the stress distribution, deformation of these components in accident SSE (Safety shutdown earthquake) working condition. The results indicate that the strength of the structure can meet the design requirements.
