AGRETL: Tool for ETL activities for agriculture domain

ETL activity is the set of operations that can be performed over the input data and could involve various functions associated with them. It is the component of an important phase for building a data warehouse, i.e., Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL). Researchers have suggested various conceptual and logical models of ETL modeling but none of them has been accepted as standard. In the previous work, authors have proposed a model referred as AGRETL (AGRicultural ETL), through this model an attempt was made to resolve the issues which exists in modeling ETL process for Agricultural domain. In this paper, authors have suggested number of ETL activities, which are highly required for the efficient data modeling of the agricultural data set and did not exist in either of the logical model. Further, these activities have also been implemented using C#. The comparative performance study of AGRETL model with existing logical models has been done.
