摘要

Ouyao kiln (a chinaware kiln in ancient Ou) is a famous celadon kiln born, developed and declined in historical cultural city Wenzhou (called Yongjia County in ancient China). It was set up in Donghan Dynasty, flourishing in Tang Dynasty after the development in Dongjin Dynasty, Xijin Dynasty and Nanbei Dynasty and declined in Yuan and Song Dynasty for some reasons. So it has a long history and abundant culture connotation. The stipples of Brown glaze decoration on celadon indicate the wisdom, simple goodness and love of life of laboring people for its rusticity and condense. Furthermore, a harbor bureau was set up in Wenzhou in South Song dynasty to administer the newly-opened treaty port. Wenzhou once became a very important port on the 'China Road' for its significant contribution on the cross-culture communication, especially the pottery and porcelain culture communication.
