The latest development in transistor technology has enabled it as a replacement for the traditional electron tube amplifiers, making the amplifiers more efficient and less expensive. This project set out to 1.5 KW Amplifier at 27.12 MHz using solid state amplifier. Moreover, the 1.5 kW Amplifier has to meet the demands of a series cascaded radio frequency power amplifier for RF Heating which is used in smart warehouse system.Amplifier have been designed, fabricated and measured, showing promising results. The power amplifier utilizes a LDMOS transistor technology. Class of operation AB push pull configuration for the power amplifier stage. At relatively low frequency of 27.12MHz amplifier make use of unusual design approaches.
