This paper investigates the absolute stability problem for time-delay Lurie control system with nonlinearity located in infinite sector. By constructing a novel Lyapunov functional and computing a tighter upper bound for the derivative of the Lyapunov functional, a new delay-dependent stability criterion formulated in linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is derived. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
