Two-stage uncapacity facility location in the development of logistics network for a supply chain managementrnis considered. It develops the location(s) for additional warehouses (if need to be) while keeping the existingrnplants and warehouses in the existing positions. The placement of the new warehouses can be anywhere in thernservice area and not restricted to just few selected locations. For each customer the demand is known. The unitrncost of transportation is directly related to Euclidean distance between the customer and source of supply.rnProducts can be shipped from the plant(s) directly to the customer(s) or alternatively transshipped to arnwarehouse(s) and then shipped to the customers.
