摘要

The secondary non-homogeneity detector (NHD) for space-time adaptive processing (STAP) is proposed, which is to reconstruct covariance matrix by using the screened data after the first NHD. The reconstructed covariance matrix will be applied to screen the original data once again. The secondary screened data is better to meet the requirement of the independent identically distributed (IID) than the conventional NHD. Based on the proposed approach, it can be found that the peak-to-sidelobe ratio (PSR) of detection results can been improved significantly. Simulation experiments have demonstrated that the proposed approach has better performance compared with existing methods in terms of PSR.
