The nonstationary temperature fields in the 'diamond-matrix' system of instruments on polymer and hard alloy matrices are studied numerically. The time dependences of the transitional thermal process and the steady-state temperature on the thermophysical properties of the matrix and heat transfer to the external environment are determined.
