Aiming at the problem of excessive volume and system loss of parallel hybrid APF and reactive power compensation device under unbalanced grid, A kind of SVG and APF and DC bus joint operation system which can compensate reactive power, compensate grid imbalance and filter out the harmonic current of power grid under unbalanced power grid are proposed. In this system, the SVG is used to compensate reactive power and grid imbalance quickly, and APF compensates the specific harmonic of power grid and SVG. By reducing the volume of the capacitor through the DC bus, the total volume of the system is reduced; reducing the switching frequency of the SVG reduces system losses. On the basis of the analysis of the basic working principle of SVG and APF, the control method of the joint system is studied, and the feasibility of the combined system is verified by MATLAB simulation.
