A Consideration on Definition of Complex Terrain

As many wind power plants in Japan are developed in complex terrain, wind technology related torn"complex terrain" is one of the keen issues. A definition of a technical term shall be optimally definedrnaccording to its role. Since a modern wind turbine is a system of power generation, a definition of complexrnterrain shall be given based on the evaluation of power, which has brought a proposal of the definition inrnthis work. Complexity level is introduced and map of the levels are obtained by performing numericalrncomputation over typical topographies.
