摘要

The characteristic curve of displacement of rock mass surrounding a tunnel is very useful in selecting the rigidity of the support and the time for installing it. However, there has not been an approach for predicting the curve. This paper uses ANFIS and numerical modeling to establish an approach for predicting the curve. The approach was then used to predict the curve for the tunnel at level 12 in Kangjiawan Lead and Zinc Mine of Shuikoushan Bureau of Mines. The predicted curve was used to analyze the reason why the support for the tunnel failed. The analyses revealed that installing a too rigid support too early resulted in it failure.
