CVD SYNTHESIS AND HIGH PRESSURE TREATMENT OF CARBON NANOTUBES

摘要

In order to tune the diameter of carbon nanotubes, we have attempted to synthesize carbon nanotubes by catalytic chemical vapor deposition method using mesoporous silica as a catalyst supporting material. We discuss the yield and the structure of the obtained carbon nanotubes using the catalysts loaded into the mesoporous silica in two different ways.
