摘要

The object of this work is the study of the behaviour of compositernmultidirectional laminate under opening (mode I) loading. The material used is a compositernglass / epoxy. The stacking sequence was selected in the form [(+θ/-θ)_2]_(2s) to minimize therneffects of coupling.rnThe experimental results show that the shape of the head of crack as well as thernevolution of the propagation of crack depends on the angle of orientation of the plies. For thernweak angle ( θ≤ 30° , the fracture is done by délamination on the médian plan. For the greatrnangle ( θφ67°) the fracture takes place by flexure at the head of the precrack. For thernintermediate angles, the bifurcation phenomenon leads to a delamination in staircase.
