Military forces movement (MFM) is the adjustment of some elements or component in military forces (MF) from its former site or structure to the latter so as to procure the spatial or configurable effectiveness of MF, which is one of two important aspects (static disposition and dynamic movement) to embody the military power. However, owing to no more the optimization models about MFM, the decision of MFM is mostly made by the commander based on him ability, which is often not optimum. No models and its arithmetic is the military command automation not achieved in deed. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is that studies and reveals optimization models of military forces movement systems (MFMS). So several important problems have been studied and discussed about MFMS in this paper. These are as follows: Firstly, this paper systematically analyzes ten key aspects (movement object, movement end-site, movement begin-site, stockpile site, movement route, movement resource, movement capability, movement Consumption, movement time, movement safety) about MFMS. It has abstractly been depicted with mathematic symbols for some key factors relate to these ten aspects. Secondly, the paper gives the mathematics expressions of possible objective and restrictive conditions quantitatively based on MFMS. Thirdly, the paper discusses the ways to establish the various type optimization models of MFMS and its arithmetic. These optimization models and arithmetic that are established based on MFMS can be used in military command automation system.
