REFLECTANCE MEASUREMENT OF MAIN URBAN COVERS IN THE SENTINEL-2 SPECTRAL WINDOWS

Identify urban land cover is an important task for manyrnpurposes like vegetation planning, urban growth, illegalrnbuildings and development plans. The Sentinel-2rnspectral, spatial and temporal resolution makes it arnpowerful tool to distinguish between different landrncovers.rnThis study tries to measure the reflectance of the mainrnurban covers and simulate the reflectance at Sentinel-2rnlevel. This information will be valuable to developrnalgorithms for monitoring urban land cover with thernimagery that Sentinel-2 will provide.
