Geological Historical Remains and Geological Background In Yuntaishan World Geopark

1 IntroductionIn March 2004, the world geopark meeting hold in French Paris consistently passes through Yuntaishan national geopark on meeting to become one of first world geoparks. This world geopark is consisted of 5 landscapes (localities), which are located in the north part of Jiaozuo, Henan Province. The Yuntaishan World Geopark is a comprehensive geopark mainly with tectonic structures and the geological historical remains that was formed by Eastern Asia Rift. The Geographic coordinate is E113°22'707"- 114°14'079", N35°21'323"-35°24'966", the area is approximately 500km2, which is also located at the most south end of the Taihangshan Range, and it is growth in the turn place of the second steps of Chinese landforms and the alluvial plain of North China (Fig. 1).
