摘要

We have found that the mobile ions in STN-LCD panel can be reduced by compounding particles of an inorganic ion trapping in the insulator film (TOP COAT), which is widely used for preventing short circuit between segment-side and common-side electrodes. We expect that this film will improve the display quality of STN-LCD in which the quality degraded by impurity ions in the LCD panel.
