Wireless multimedia synchronization is concerned with distributed multimedia packets such as video, audio, text and graphics being played-out onto the mobile clients via a base station(BS) that services the mobile client with the multimedia packets. In this paper, we study the media synchronization quality of packet scheduling algorithm for wireless and mobile networks using hard hand-off scheme. We present a set of simulation experiments we have carried out to study their effect in terms of buffer usage, overlow and underflow at the mobile host while mobile hosts request and play-out of multimedia packets.
