Studies of Impurity Production Mechanisms in the JET Divertors

(1) Study the effect of plasma configuration and density on the impurity production and central impurity density in ELMy H-mode discharges in JET (2) Model the impurity fluxes in individual discharges using the DIVIMP/NIMBUS Monte Carlo codes with experimental profile data from the divertor target used as input to create a background plasma.
