We report efforts at ADA Technologies, Inc. to optimize the performance of LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4 (LNMO) spinel cathodes via material and operational approaches. Oxide coatings were also introduced via atomic layer deposition (ALD) to further improve the cycling stability of LNMO at high temperatures.
