摘要

As the new generation language based on the 3D Web, VRML can provide the 3D virtual environment that allows the user to participate, and can make the reaction initiatively to the object in the scene. Therefore, it is playing the very vital role in teaching Engineering Graphics course that involves the abstract spatial geometry problems. The article introduced the application condition for Graphics educations using VRML at the home and the oversea, summarized the method founded the real-time interactive scene using VRML, introduced with emphasis the research and the development by using of VRML in the aspects of Descriptive geometry, three-dimensional expression method, virtual assembly, disassemblies and so on in Guangdong University of Technology, and provided essential codes for realizing these technology.
