By the important role of 3D modeling in modern mechanical design and manufacture, this paper retrace the approach to train the thought and imagination of space for two-dimensional design, analyze the same and different aspects between two-dimensional design and three-dimensional design in theoretical system, provide the concrete methods and approaches to train the thought and imagination of space and the creative ability in three-dimensional design.
