摘要

This paper deals with a description of arnmultivariable measurement system intended to be used inrnthe freshwater fish-farming industry. The aim of thernmeasurement system is to provide data about waterrntemperature, water pH and oxygen dissolved in waterrnnecessary for operation of an expert system that supervisesrnand controls the fish production process. The installedrnmeasurement equipment is connected with the expert systemrnthrough a server-client type of communication via thernInternet and an ability to handle multiple clients makes thernwhole system operable for an arbitrary number of fishrnfarms. Access to the on-site measurement equipment viarnInternet enables better supervision, planning and betterrnutilization of production resources, which results in turnrnwith increased quality of fish, increased fish growth andrnbigger profits.
