A new approach to estimation of inflow into a dam reservoir based on filtering theory

摘要

A new approach to estimation of inflow into a dam reservoir based on filtering theory is proposed in the paper The smoothing filter consisted of a notch filter (NF) and lowpass filter (LPF) is designed considering the seiche period. Water inflow into a dam reservoir can be estimated by using the proposed smoothing filter, which eliminates influence of noise in time series data of water level.
