摘要

A robust fault detection approach based on unknown input observer and its application in an attitude control system are studied. First the necessary and sufficient existence conditions of UIO are presented and proved. Then the application steps of full-order and reduced-order unknown input observer are summarized. The approach is validated by an attitude control system and simulation proves that the fault residual are perfectly de-coupled by disturbances, and the fault can be detected effectively.
