Developing internet/intranet GIS applet with java

摘要

This paper introduces author's work in Internet/Intranet GIS Applet with JAVA. First, the paper discuses the work theory of Intermet/Intranet GIS Applet. Then introduce GeoWindows Web Version's technique feature, including background, interface, functions, data store format, data manager strategy, display control mechanism. The paper also summaries some difference of JAVA work in different Browser- Navigator and IE, and gives solving methods, which may help programmers make good JAVA program running in many kinds of Browser. The author also gives the running test result of GeoWindows Web Applet, and the improving direction.
