Positioned for Success - A Training Program for Effective and Efficient Implementation of Facility Decommissioning

Over the years since the late 1970s and early 1980s, much progress has been made and valuable experience gained both in the regulation and in the implementation of nuclear facility decommissioning. To date, much of this experience has occurred in the United States, western European countries and to a lesser extent in the Asian sector. Often, it has proven difficult to transfer the best practices, experiences and lessons learned to subsequent projects and programs. The purpose of the ANL Facility Decommissioning Training Course is to convey imperative information on the decommissioning process to those beginning in this technical area for the first time.
