Aspects of the acoustic testing of an electronic system-Part III Evaluation of the noise reduction of the system's enclosure

The present paper, the third of three parts, describes the use of acoustic noiserndata, measured during acoustic noise tests, for the determination of the acousticrnnoise reduction of a system's enclosure. The noise reduction is evaluated for tworntested systems. The results obtained for the two systems are compared, takingrninto account the differences between the enclosures (thickness, material). Thernmeasured results are also compared to the analytical evaluation of the noisernreduction for each enclosure.
