A Prototype Steer-by-Wire and Brake-by-Wire System for Educational Research Projects

X-by-wire is an advanced engineering concept which involves removing mechanical components and replacing them with electronic sensors, actuators and networks. This paper describes the implementation of a research educational prototype Steer-by-wire and Brake-by-wire system using a time-triggered network, namely TTCAN.
