Two-way interactive audio-visual telecommunication (teleconferencing) is beginning to play a larger role in the education of the members of our society. The technology is used in elementary schools, high schools, technical colleges, and universities. Business and industry are also becoming more involved with the use of the technology. As equipment is becoming more highly developed, the use of portable cameras with moveable sending and receiving units give electrical manufacturers the ability to do advanced training at remote sites. Two-way interactive audio-visual telecommunications has become an effective teaching tool in a relatively short time. Electrical manufactures will be using this technology more and more in the future. Education will be enhanced by the ability of bringing the best people together in an interactive learning environment.
