Intelligent Control of Hotbeds for Seed Germination and the Growing of Little Plants

In this paper, we present an intelligent alternative to automate the process of germination and early growing of little plants by controlling the temperature and humidity required. We are applying a Mamdani type fuzy control to regulate the needed environment conditions, in a germination hotbed, adequate to each kind of seed. The description of the prototype is included as well as the development of the fuzzy control system, and the results obtained through the experiments.
