摘要

This paper proposes a new method based on quantitative analysis to study the factors that affect the electro-dynamic repulsion force in air circuit breaker (ACB). It's based on the equations among current-magnetic field-repulsion force and takes into account the ferromagnets. With 3-d finite element nonlinear analysis according to the equations, it researches the distributing characteristic of electro-dynamic repulsion force acting on every piece of movable conductors with constant current. Then it gives an analysis of the factors that affect the electro-dynamic repulsion force, including the number of movable conductors, the location of the axis and the shape of the flexible connection. The results are capable of evaluating new design of contact systems in ACB.
