摘要

In this paper, the interpolating MLS shape functions are implemented in a standard Element Free Galerkin Method (EFGM) formulation, for the computation of electromagnetic fields in non-homogeneous media. A technique dealing with discontinuous derivatives is also successfully applied for the solution of the Poisson's equation. EFGM and FEM results are compared for some 2D electrostatic and magnetostatic problems, showing accurate agreement. These results encourage further applications of the formalism here presented in software tools for Electromagnetics.
