Top-down formation of vertically-aligned silicon nanowire bundles for tuning optical and field emission properties

We report a top-down strategy for realizing vertically-aligned silicon nanowire bundles which provide the controllability of surface reflectance by tuning the bundle parameters and superior field emission performance by reducing the screening effect.
