摘要

The reconstruction of dense cloud points is the keytechnique in reverse engineering and is the bottleneck in theprogress of reverse engineering. Based on analyzing thecurrent classic methods deeply, this paper presents a newmethod to reconstruct NURBS surface according to trianglemeshes. This method combines the vividness of Beziersurface reconstruction with the accuracy of NURBS surfacereconstruction and makes complicated dense pointsreconstruction accurately and effectively. In this paper, itdevises a reconstruction module FastForm based on themethod discussed in paper and builds a reverse engineeringsystem regarding the IGES format as data interface. Finally,the actual effect of this reverse engineering system isverified by an instance.
