摘要

This paper presents subject of Sail-Flight TestProgram constructed for the Wing in SurfaceEffect Craft (WiSE) 8 'Undan', which isconducted on the WiSE Engineering FlightSimulator (WiSE-EFS). This paper discusses theresult and evaluation of test data, and comparesit with the predicted performance of a WiSECraft. The program includes: On-watermaneuvering test, Take-off and Landing, In-Ground Effect (IGE) cruise, IGE maneuvering,Out-of-Ground Effect (OGE) Cruise and OGEmaneuvering. The configurations subjected tovariation are the fuel, center of gravity, and theaileron-rudder interconnection system. Severalfailures are also induced, including engine andflight control system failures. The result andfindings, along with the experience in sail-flighttesting a WiSE craft, are described in the end ofthis paper.
