摘要

Characteristics of nano compound graphitized black containing magnesia carbon bricks were investigated. The nano compound graphitized black consisting boron carbide and carbon was synthesized from boron and carbon black through the induction field activated SHS method (Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis). The bricks were corrosion resistant and hardly oxidized, and had high strength at high temperature and less variation in modulus of elasticity at high temperature contributing for higher spalling resistance. The bricks have been being used for RH successfully.
