Li/CFx MEDICAL BATTERY DEVELOPMENT

摘要

Eagle Picher Medical Power (EPMP) is engaged in the development of high energy density and specific energy, light weight battery for medical applications. The paper will present electrical performance data of a Li/CF_x battery developed for low current applications. Rate capability data, impedance spectroscopy and microcalorimetry data will be presented. The influence of carbon additives on battery performance will also be described.
