Research directions toward quantum networks

摘要

This talk will discuss future research directions on technologies for quantum cryptography.One is to design a quantum network, which o ers interconnectivity, network management, key management and further applications, as well as a guarantee of the secure key distribution. Another direction is to improve the transmissions performances. A quantum repeater is one of the highly desired device to expand the transmission distance. Estimations on the resources that should be satis ed for a quantum repeater is given.
