摘要

Dynamic alarm handling is an important component of any monitoring system that is used to assess the condition of equipment in dynamic environments. This paper identifies problems with conventional mehtods used to set alarm thresholds, filter nuisance alarms, and determine the condition of the equipment. An alternative monitoring approach, using fuzzy logic and statistical methods, is presented for condition monitoring of hydraulic systems.
