摘要

Optimised flame condition and flame stability in a combustion process must be maintained to achieve improved combustion efficiency and reduced pollutant emissions. The property of a combustion flame can be represented by a number of parameters such as flame size, temperature, colour, luminosity, stoichiometry, and flicker. These parameters all contribute to the overall flame stability and provide crucial information on the entire combustion process. This paper describes a CCD-based multi-functional flame monitoring system which measures simultaneously multiple parameters of a flame including size, temperature and colour. Measurement principles along with preliminary experimental results are included.
