The Partnership has delivered on its goal of delivering 2,000 acres of retrofit projects the first term of the contract through a well-planned and organized effort that helps grow local businesses while substantially reducing costs and delivery times. A key factor in this has been the availability of financing, loans, and fees to support the design, construction, and building of the program. The use of an incentivized fee structure for performance and helping to facilitate the use of local and minority businesses has helped accelerate the program and build the local economy.
