Rapidly Disintegrating Tablets for Targeted Oral Delivery

A rapidly disintegrating enterically coated tablet was developed using simple processing techniques. A tablet with a suitable type and quantity of disintegrant, with minimum weight gain of the enteric coating were required to provide acid resistance at low pH, and show rapid disintegration and dissolution at elevated pH.
