Customer premises cabling: European perspectives

This paper presents a European profile of developments in Customer Premises Cabling. It describes a number of European initiatives associated with the definition of cabling systems and explains why the European cabling market may fragment, with potentially serious consequences. The paper also charts the evolution of the international cabling standard as it enters its final stage of approval.
