Comparing Content Analysis of Mathematics Websites between Taiwan and China

摘要

Taiwan is famous for personal computers (PC) and the PC related products. China is the world's biggest PC manufacturing center and consuming market. Students from Taiwan and China are strong in international assessment of mathematics. This study aims to explore the relationship between computer and mathematics worlds with the content analysis method and four virtual spaces of ICDT model to analyze mathematics websites of Taiwan and China. The results showed that most math websites in Taiwan and China remained at the stage of providing information; they were less for communication, and rarely for trade and delivery services.
